||On July 29–30, 2014, the U.S. Department of Energy's Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) will host its seventh annual conference—Biomass 2014: Growing the Future Bioeconomy. Biomass 2014 will bring together top government officials and members of Congress—with industry leaders and experts from across the bioenergy supply chain—to continue ongoing dialogue about the critical challenges and key opportunities for the industry.

|TCS 2014 Symposium on Thermal and Catalytic Sciences for Biofuels and Biobased Products
||This four-day biofuels conference will focus exclusively on thermochemical processing of biomass into fuels and chemicals. Program topics include advances in pyrolysis and solvent liquefaction, advances in gasification, and catalytic upgrading of bio-oil and syngas to fuels and chemicals. There will be a poster competition, interactive breakout sessions, and tours of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
