Flushing Officials Begin to See Energy Savings with Heating Upgrades in Fire Hall, DPW Buildings

Using funds from their Energy Efficiency and Conservation Recovery Act Grant to install heating systems in both the Fire House and the Department of Public Works building, the city officials of Flushing, Michigan estimates the energy efficiency and environmental benefits to be $8,000 in annual savings along with significant reductions in carbon emissions.
