Here Comes The Sun in Oregon

July 20, 2011

A new photovoltaic system was installed on the Clackamas County Development Services Building located in Oregon City, Oregon.  The $350,000 project is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program and will generate 67,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.  Because of the decline in costs for  solar photovoltaic systems, this project joins numerous other solar systems that have been installed by private companies and public agencies in Clackamas County in the past year.
