Berkeley Company Installs Solar Panels on Beech Bottom Town Hall
April 7, 2012
Milestone Solar Consultants of Marlowe in Berkeley County recently installed an array of photovoltaic panels on the roof of the town hall of Beech Bottom in Brooke County in the Northern Panhandle.
The system consisted of 21 240-watt modules and all the associated equipment and monitoring systems. Photovoltaic panels, or PV panels, convert sunlight into electricity.
"Our performance modeling shows a projected output of around 6,000 to 6,200 kilowatt-hours of electricity over a 12-month period," Bill Anderson, president of Milestone Solar said. "This is a nice system, similar in size to that a residential customer might buy." Read more about this story in the April 7 edition of The Journal.
