Earth Day Poster: See Your Energy Use In A New Light

Earth Day, which began in 1970, is now celebrated by millions of people worldwide. This year is the 35th anniversary, and the Federal Energy Management Program, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, is asking federal facilities and others across the country to celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd, and practice energy efficiency throughout the year. The theme this year, "See Your Energy Use in a New Light," encourages federal workers and others to "see the light" about the significant amount of money and energy that can be saved by cutting energy use. Please call the EERE Information Center at 877-337-3463 to request a limited supply of Earth Day materials. A Power Kit: Energy Awareness Resources on CD Rom with high resolution graphics for creating and printing your own materials is also available.
