Metro Directions

The Metro rail and bus system is the environmentally-friendly and economical way to get to L'Enfant Plaza. The L'Enfant Plaza station is conveniently located on the blue, orange, yellow, and green lines.

From Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA)
Metro Subway System

The trip from Ronald Reagan National Airport to the SunShot office takes approximately 15 minutes using the Metro subway system.

  • At the airport, take the yellow line toward Mt. Vernon Square, exiting at the L'Enfant Plaza station. Exiting the L'Enfant Plaza station can be tricky because there are multiple exits. From all four lines (yellow, green, blue, and orange), when exiting the station use the exit marked L'Enfant Plaza (not the Department of Transportation or Maryland Ave. exits).
  • At top of escalator, continue straight to the La Promenade underground mall. Look for 950 L'Enfant signs and walk through the mall until you reach a sunlit intersection below a large glass pyramid.
  • Turn left at this intersection and continue about 100 feet to an escalator at the end of the hallway which will take you up to a security desk.
